Hi everyone..

Time for a bit more inspiration for

For today Ive used the "Maiden Hair" stamp as well as the "Desicion to try"  stamp.
You can find them in the STORE..

Here is what I've made for today:

This card is made on glossy stamping paper. I stamped my maidenhair stamp using Adirondack inks.
My sentiment is then stamped onto a scrap of the back ground, cut out and added on top. I finished with faux stitches down the side.

And that is all from me for today.

Kerrie DT - Yuletide Eric

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

Ive been caught up this weekend in a massive Kraft Korner sort out, reorganising and unpacking loads of goodies its taken 3 days so far and Im still not finished - but I stopped over the weekend long enough to make another Festive card using one of the New Elf Stamps in the Yuletide Collection - he is Eric & Candy Canes and so so cute

I have kept my card very simple as I thought this Gorgeous Stamp didn't need a lot of fuss as he looks adorable with his Christams Candy - I chose some gorgeous backing papers in more muted Christmas colours, Golden Mirror Board and a gorgeous red Doily

I coloured Eric using my fave alcohol markers using colours to match in with the backing papers and I chose to use the 'Twas the Night' sentiment also from the Yuletide Collection

I hope you like my Festive Make - please visit the Bee Crafty Blog again soon for more gorgeous makes by the Talented Design Team

Clare DT- Value of a moment

Good morning fellow bloggers. It's a lovely sunny morning here in Torbay which is fabulous after the torrential downpour we had yesterday. Long may the sunshine remain! I am here with my weekly Bee Crafty spot and this weeks card does have a bit of a summer feel with it's beachy scene.

For this card I used:

Wordage - Value of a memory stamp

Beautanicals - Ferns

Inkables heart template

Distress inks

Just a clean and simple card this week brushing my distress inks through the inkables template. I also stamped some ferns through the template to create some depth. Once I removed the inkables heart i continued stamping with the fern and finally I stamped the sentiment.

I am finally on my holidays and hoping to be blogging a little more frequently. I have however had the inconvenience of breaking my elbow this week! Fortunately it was my left arm and as I am right handed it shouldn't hold me back too much. I am feeling a little foolish though! When you announce at A & E that you injured yourself rollerskating you get that all knowing look. Oh dear, at my age I really should know better!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today. I will hopefully see you in the week with some more crafty moments. Remember you can leave your comments below and follow by clicking on one of the links above.

Marleen DT - Fleur & Freddie

Hello again..

Once again wednesday, once again Bee Crafty, Once again a tag lol..

As many of us do, we have our stash, we have our favorites and tend to "forget" about the non favorites for a bit.. I do this a lot, be it my stamps, my washi tape collection, my papers, my ect ect..
Often we dont "forget" because we dont like the goodies, its simply just cause we have (more often enough) way to much to play with lol
And I am very quilty of this..

The stamp I played with for today, I actually love. Its such a cute stamp but its an occational stamp (many occations may I add) one that says LOVE. Now to be honest, I dont often make projects around the love theme so I have to (blushing here*) admit that this stamp had gone to the bottom of my Bee Crafty stamp box..

As I sat down to play, I knew I wanted to do something with my greeting - "Decision to try stamp", also from the Bee Crafty STORE - and I LOVE making tags so that was my next choice. So I sat down, made my back ground on the tag and started rumaging for my greeting. And that is when I "found" my
And that was it.. I knew strait up what to and how to finish my tag.

Im so glad I "found" Fleur & Freddie when rumaging my stamps. I love how this tag came out and it made me think about rumaging through my boxes more often. God only knows what other goodies I have forgotten about..

Thank you for popping by and for anycomments left behind.

Kerrie DT - Yuletide Eric & Elsie

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

I'm still getting ahead with some of my Christmas Makes so this week I have made A 'Yuletide' Card with 'Eric & Elsie'

I created an Easel Card using two scalloped cardblanks - I stamped 'Eric & Elsie' onto watercolour cardstock then stamped the 'Holly Swirl' around the edges using clear embossing ink which I then tipped True White embossing powder over before heating with a heat tool to create a resist for later. Next I watercoloured the elves using my old travel watercolour kit which is over 12years old but still has lots left - I have recently started to relove some of my older craft stash.

Once I had coloured 'Eric & Elsie' I then inked over the heat embossed 'Holly Swirl's using Distress Inks - 'Peeled Paint' and 'Fired Brick', once dry I buffed over the embossed areas using a dry cloth which removed all the ink from it.
All the matticng and layering is using some pearlescent bronze card.

I used 2 'Yuletide' sentiments on the card, one for the card front and one for the stepper stop 'Dear Santa' and 'Circle Message Holly'

Clare DT - Beautanicals Dandelion

Good morning fellow bloggers. I have awoken to a glorious morning, I hope the sun is shining where you are? Here I am again with another card made using Bee Crafty stamps.

For this card i used:

Beautanicals - Dandelions stamp

Wordadge - Joy is a flower

Liquid pearls

I started off by brayering the background colour onto the card, once I had acheived my desired background I stamped the dandelion onto the card in a smokey grey ink and continued to stamp in various places, without re-inking, so that the dandelions appeared lighter in colour.

Again with the Dandelion I stamped around in moss green in the same manner. In the foreground I stampecd with a black ink pad.

Finally I added some liquid pearls and stickles for some dimension, shimmer and sparkle.

Thank you for popping over today. Remember to hit the follow button to see what crafty notions I get up to next time. I love to hear your comments, you can leave those below.

Marleen DT - Branch

Hello crafty friends :-)

Its time for my weekly slot for

This week Ive had a play with the
Ive also used the "Best wishes" stamp.

You can find both in the STORE with all the other goodies..

Here is what Ive made for this week:

For this card I wanted to go nice and colour full. And I just love the reds and pinks in the distress range. So what I did was simply to cut an mat to fit my card blank and smother it in those colors.
I then took my branch stamp and stamped of the edges all the way round my mat till I was happy with the amount of branches.
For the greeting I simply took a piece of card stock and stamped the greeting twice and added the little "tail" under and added onto the card with foam pads.
A quick little card yet very striking.

And that is all from me for today. Have a great day and thank you for popping by.

Emily DT - Fleur & Freddie

Hi everyone. Today is mine and my husband's fifth wedding anniversary so I'm feeling all romantic!
Therefore I've chosen Fleur & Freddie to be the focus of my card this week.

Here is the card

I started by masking off the middle of the card and colouring the border. I used picked raspberry distress ink which was roughly applied with an ink applicator and then went all the way round with the cow parsley stamp using black archival ink.

Then I stamped Fleur & Freddie Foot Poppin' Kisses in the middle. I'm not great at colouring in but I had a go at painting the image using distress inks and water. I think it turned out ok!

I hope I've managed to spread the love a bit this week!
See you all again next week

Marleen DT - Tree Silhuette

Hello everyone..

Its once again wednesday and time for my weekly slot for

This week Ive had a play with the
Ive also used the "special thoughts" stamp.
You can find both in the STORE with all the other goodies..

This little card came together really fast.
It was a simple matter of stamping my tree with Embossing ink and cover it with clear embossing powder. Once powder was melted and cooled I simply used a couple of mini misters with distress re-inkers and water in them and sprayed over the tree till I got the desired colour.
I then took a circle die and lay on top of the card and pierced the holes to sew with a pokey tool.
I removed the die and sewed up following the holes I made and voila, job done. Really quick and simple card.

And that is all from me for today.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Kerrie DT - Phoebe FASHIONettes

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

This week I have made a card for my littlest Daughter reBecca as its her 7th Birthday in a few week's she may only be young but she is already a shopping diva who knows exactly what she wants lol she has more handbags than I do

I have chosen to colour FASHINettes - Phoebe this week her hair is a lot like reBecca's all long and wavy

I coloured Phoebe using my big collection of alcohol markers - she took best part of a day to colour but I loved every minute

I chose a pretty backing paper which I colour matched with my markers - thats the joy of having a big collection being able to colour match to pretty much any paper i choose - the Shopping List was created using the packaging from some stickers I got online last week it was too nice to throw away I stuck some washi tape across the bottom to hide the brand info. The writing is my own messy writing but I quite like how it turned out

I also used the front half of a shaped cardblank to create the layer behind the shopping list - which I stamped onto using 'Yuletide - Holly Swirl', 'Beautanicals - Dandelion' and the tiny butterfly from 'The Village - Elm Road' - I added a sentiment 'Happy Birthday' which I mounted onto a panel that I had covered using the same washi tape as earlier. The punched edge on the Mirror Board is from Martha Stewart.

I hope I have inspired you today to mix up your crafting materials with a few things you might not normally use

Thank You for visiting today, come back to the Bee Crafty Blog soon for more makes from my Amazing Design Team Buddies

Clare DT - Delight

It is the weekend again and that can only mean one thing, my Bee Crafty cap is well and truly on and with me I am bringing a new stamp from the fantasy and fables collection.

For this card I used:

Fantasy and fables - Delight

Backdrop borders - Splater swirl

Dylusions inks

Liquid pearls

Stickles

Wink of Stella clear pen

I made the background using shaving foam and ink, swirling the colours around until I acheived my desired pattern. I like to make batches of backgrounds when I use this technique. Then some simple stamping with the gorgeous new delight stamp. I stamped the splatter swirl onto a separate piece of card to layer the image. I added some liquid pearls and stickles then used the clear wink of stella brush over some of the colourful swirls.

Thank you for popping over to see me. My apologies for a very brief blog, I am afraid I have spent more time at work this week then I have at home. The school holidays are nearing and I for one am ready for a rest. Still a couple more weeks to go then I shall be up to date with the housework and plenty of crafty time on my hands.

Happy crafting,

Emily DT - Love Zentangle

Hi everyone, hope you haven't all melted with the weather we've been having recently!

Every time I have been in my craft room this week I have given up as it's so hot in there, so for my card this week I grabbed a piece of white card, a stencil and a black pen and went and sat in front of the telly.

Here is the card I have made

All I did was stick the stencil to the card using low tack tape and started doodling. I love the look of zentangle so some of it is traditional zentangle designs and some is just little doodles. I just kept going until I'd filled the stencil.
If you wanted you could draw round the edge of the letters to make it more defined but I chose not to.

Here are some close-ups of the designs

To finish it I just went round the edge with a black marker and mounted it onto a card blank.

I hope you like it! I really love how it has turned out.
