Everything is beyond ...

...perfect

Along with a few others I made my lovely mum a mothers day card this weekend and here it is.

I used some of our Teasels stamps from the BEAUtanicals range coupled with some words cut out from  the Being Happy large wordage and some distress ink.

Now I wasn't sure to begin with, was it a 'bit dark' for such an occasion.

Then I decided that I loved it so with nothing but hope that was it.

Turns out I was lucky and she did so lets hope you guys did too.

Take Care

Inspired by Banksy...

...Again!!!

Hi Everyone

Well I am supposed to do this on a Sunday but a technical error wouldn't allow me to so here I am now!

All had a good week I hope?

I have been playing with a few different bits and pieces again this week but my favourite again is a little card using the Inspired by Banksy range.

I have also used one of our Inkables templates to create a textured background I had used the offset dots on this occasion.  I just put it through the Big Shot with a tan mat and it has embossed it brilliantly.  I think next time I do that I will ink it too!!!

I love how it looks like the Hope girl looks like she is stroking the Leopard from the Leopard Escape Stamp.

Hope you like it.

Canvas or Card?

Hi Everyone

How are you all?

I have to say before I get all crafty hasn't it been an absolutely gorgeous day!!! Spring has officially sprung for me and I am very happy about it!

So anyway I was having a little play with some of the wordage stamps and particularly loved the Value of  a Moment sentiment.  I used some cute cardstock and patterened paper, which I heavily inked up with some Distress Ink varying shades of browns but my favourites are Tea Dye & Vintage Photo.

I used an old key and some pretty oversized ricrac ribbon.  I wanted quick results in terms of the sticking down of it all so for the paper to paper I used double sided tape when it came to the ribbon, key and more importantly sticking it do the canvas board that its all backed onto (yes that is not a card actually canvas boarding so that it can be wall art at home) it had to be the hot glue gun.  I use the Stix2 Hot Glue Gun which is brilliant and the refills are really reasonably priced too so I don't feel bad using it all the time!

Anyway I had real fun making this and I just love the sentiment as I said at the start.

Hope you like it too

Beautiful Banksy....

...Balloons and all!

Hi Everyone

It's been a million years since my last post, I am sorry, life takes over sometimes doesn't it but here we go!

So these box cards, have you all seen them?  I had seen a few of varying levels, sizes and I think what they do is brilliant!!! They let us send a 3D card in a flat envelope and the recipient gets to see it unfold as they receive it!

For this particular one I have used the Love Hill stamp from the Inspired by Banksy range available at Bee Crafty which includes the Balloon.  I have layered up the sides in coordinating card stock and particularly love the monochrome effect that this particular box card illustrates.  The Sentiment on the back panel is Shoot for the Moon from the Wordage Range exclusive and available at Bee Crafty also available in 2 sizes.

I think offsetting the balloons and then just having the one in red is a real contrast.  I have stamped this out using Distress Ink for the red one (Fired Brick) and then for the Black I have used the Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad.  Other colours in this range are available here for Memento and Here for Distress Inks.

Hope you love it as much as I do
