Everything is beyond ...

...perfect

Along with a few others I made my lovely mum a mothers day card this weekend and here it is.

I used some of our Teasels stamps from the BEAUtanicals range coupled with some words cut out from  the Being Happy large wordage and some distress ink.

Now I wasn't sure to begin with, was it a 'bit dark' for such an occasion.

Then I decided that I loved it so with nothing but hope that was it.

Turns out I was lucky and she did so lets hope you guys did too.

Take Care

Canvas or Card?

Hi Everyone

How are you all?

I have to say before I get all crafty hasn't it been an absolutely gorgeous day!!! Spring has officially sprung for me and I am very happy about it!

So anyway I was having a little play with some of the wordage stamps and particularly loved the Value of  a Moment sentiment.  I used some cute cardstock and patterened paper, which I heavily inked up with some Distress Ink varying shades of browns but my favourites are Tea Dye & Vintage Photo.

I used an old key and some pretty oversized ricrac ribbon.  I wanted quick results in terms of the sticking down of it all so for the paper to paper I used double sided tape when it came to the ribbon, key and more importantly sticking it do the canvas board that its all backed onto (yes that is not a card actually canvas boarding so that it can be wall art at home) it had to be the hot glue gun.  I use the Stix2 Hot Glue Gun which is brilliant and the refills are really reasonably priced too so I don't feel bad using it all the time!

Anyway I had real fun making this and I just love the sentiment as I said at the start.

Hope you like it too
